Chessling Support

Chess for kids — lessons, puzzles & bot games

Chessling teaches kids chess by re-lighting a candy park: bite-size lessons across the park's islands, thousands of puzzles, friendly on-device bot opponents, and Boss Shows to beat — no reading required, no ads, no accounts, and one optional purchase to open the whole park. Everything runs on the device.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open Parent Corner ("For grown-ups"), go to the unlock screen, and tap Restore purchase. Restores go through Apple, so use the same Apple account that made the original purchase. Family Sharing is enabled for the purchase.

Where is my child's progress stored?

Only on the device. There are no accounts and no cloud sync — if you delete the app, progress is deleted with it. You can view or share a plain-text export of everything stored from Parent Corner → Export my data.

What is the parental gate?

Purchases, external links, and grown-up settings sit behind Parent Corner. To enter, either hold both marked corners of the screen at once for 3 seconds, or answer the on-screen multiplication question (the accessible path). This keeps those areas for grown-ups.
